THE HUMBER LONG — QUILTED JACKET

The Humber, run longer. Same jacket, more of it.
Box-quilted through the body with a snap placket, rib collar and cuffs, and a flapped chest pocket. Cut four inches longer than the standard Humber so it covers the seat and sits past the top of the hip — the difference you feel standing on a quay in February rather than walking between a van and a door.
Black if you want it to disappear, olive if you don't. Quiet either way, and warm enough to be the only thing you put on.

How we measure. Chest — armhole seam to armhole seam, 1" below the armhole. Body length — high point of the shoulder straight down to the hem. Shoulder — seam to seam across the back. Sleeve length — shoulder seam to cuff edge.
Between sizes? Same block as the Humber through the chest and sleeve, just longer in the body — if you have one, take the same size.
Care. Tumble dry low to bring the loft back.
