Built off a naval deck jacket. Vintage on the outside, fleece on the inside.

This is the jacket Greybank started with. Designed by Jay — an engineer who's worked onshore, offshore and everywhere in between. Not a reissue and not a costume. A deck jacket cut for now.

Short, clean and compact — the shape a deck jacket is supposed to be, sitting at the belt rather than over your backside. Cut closer than the old ones. Nothing boxy about it and nothing borrowed from a trucker jacket.

8oz cotton duck canvas, garment washed after make-up so it arrives with a dry hand and a bit of history rather than looking new. That's the vintage half. The modern half is inside: polar fleece through the whole body and the hand pockets, so the warmth is where your hands actually go. It's warmer than a pile lining, it breathes, and it won't mat down at the collar after one winter.

The collar is the piece. Thick high-pile fleece, low and broad with fully rounded edges — a deck collar, not a sherpa one. Five matte black buttons down the front and no zip. One tonal rubber patch high on the left sleeve.

These are garment measurements, not body measurements — the jacket laid flat, in inches. Cut to be worn over a tee or a light layer.

How we measure. Chest — armhole seam to armhole seam, 1" below the armhole. Body length — high point of the shoulder straight down to the hem. Shoulder — seam to seam across the back. Sleeve length — shoulder seam to cuff edge.

Between sizes? It's a short jacket cut close, in the tradition of the original deck jackets. Size up if you want it over a heavy knit.
