An island of shell sand and low wind-bent grass. A sweatshirt with nothing on it that doesn't need to be there.

Coll sits low in the Inner Hebrides, flat enough that the weather goes straight over the top of it. No shelter, no fuss, nothing decorative. We named this one after it because it's the piece in the range that does the most and says the least.

440gsm brushed-back cotton terry, given a vintage acid wash so it arrives already faded and worn-in rather than flat and new. That wash is the reason the garment exists — it breaks differently on every piece, so no two are quite the same.

Relaxed through the body, lean in the sleeve, cut with a deep armhole so it moves when you do. Two plain side-seam hand pockets — no zips, no binding, nothing added. One moulded rubber patch on the left sleeve where you see it, and a completely clean chest.

Wear it under the Rannoch on the worst of it, or on its own from the harbour to the house.

SIZE GUIDE

These are garment measurements, not body measurements — the piece laid flat and measured after washing, in inches. Compare them against a sweatshirt you already own and like the fit of. That is how we built it.

How we measure. Chest — armhole seam to armhole seam, 1" below the armhole. Body length — from the high point of the shoulder straight down to the hem edge, hem rib included, collar excluded. Sleeve length — shoulder seam to cuff edge. Shoulder — seam to seam across the back.

Between sizes? Size down for a closer fit, up if you want to layer it over more than a tee. The body is relaxed and the sleeve is lean by design.
