The Hebrides are stone, peat and weather that changes by the hour. Half the year isn't jacket weather and isn't shirt weather either. That's what an overshirt is for.

Heavy cotton cord in washed black, cut as an overshirt. Two patch pockets at the chest, engraved-G brass buttons front and cuff, and no other mark on it — the cord does the talking.

Wear it open over a Henley in October. Buttoned up over a tee in April.
