Corduroy, cut like a good pair of jeans rather than like corduroy.

Most cord trousers are either too formal or too baggy. This one was measured off a pair of jeans that already fit and built to those numbers, then given half an inch through the thigh, knee and leg opening so the cloth has somewhere to sit.

Stretch wide-wale cotton with a touch of elastane, so it moves when you crouch down to something instead of fighting you. Flat waistband with give in it. Slim through the leg with a clean taper — no break, no bunching over a boot.

Wear it to work, wear it out, wear it in the pub in November.

SIZING

Sized on the waist in inches. The fit is anchored to a pair the founder already owned and wore out — slim through the thigh and knee, tapered clean to the hem. If you're between sizes, the waistband has 2.5" of give in it.
