THE MAKING OF THE RANNOCH - PART 4

PART 4 — CHOOSING THE MATERIALS

A jacket is only as good as the materials it's built from.

We spent almost as much time selecting fabrics as we did designing the jacket itself.

The shell needed to withstand years of British weather without becoming heavy or uncomfortable. Every fabric sample was judged on durability, texture, weight and how it aged with use.

Ripstop reinforcement became an obvious choice in high-wear areas. Waterproof construction, technical hardware and dependable trims completed the foundation.

The goal wasn't to use expensive materials for the sake of it.

The goal was to use the right materials in the right places.

For us, durability will always be more important than trends.
