FINDING THE SILHOUETTE

The first concept gave me a direction.

The second stage was about getting the proportions right.

A technical jacket can have the best fabrics and hardware in the world, but if the silhouette isn't balanced, you'll never want to wear it.

The Rannoch went through countless small revisions. I adjusted the overall length, refined the hood, repositioned the pockets and reworked the sleeve shape. None of these changes were dramatic on their own, but together they transformed the jacket.

I found myself asking the same question over and over again:

"If I removed one more thing, would the jacket become better or worse?"

That simple approach shaped every decision.

The goal wasn't to design the busiest jacket.

It was to design one that looked effortless.

Every seam, panel and pocket had to justify its existence. If it didn't improve comfort, durability or function, it didn't belong.

By the end of this stage, The Rannoch finally felt balanced. The proportions were right. The silhouette was clean. More importantly, it looked like something that belonged on the British coast rather than in a showroom.

There was still a long way to go.

But for the first time, it felt like The Rannoch had found its identity. Even if it was just an AI Image.
